Sometimes people who use Garmin GPS unit want to change the voice that tells the directions and routes in the device. Garmin uses female voice to tell the direction. However some people want to change it with using male voice or celebrity voice. Every people want to personalize their device with some things adjusted with their desire indeed, including the voice. Other GPS device providers likes TomTom allow the user to download free voices from the website. Unfortunately, if you a Garmin user, you can’t do that. Although you think that you will download voices from TomTom and upload it to your Garmin, it will meet problem. Actually, Garmin provides male voice in the website, but now we can’t find it. So, you must be accompanied by woman voice in your GPS.
Indeed, Garmin doesn’t provide download free voices for my Garmin Nuvi Sat Nav, but you can make your own direction voices. There is free software for you to make own voice directions named Garmin Voice Studio. You can download it and install it in your computer.
